carbodiimide C-218 is a new product in the carbodiimide series with high crosslinking and economy. Whether the substrate is hard or soft, it can be applied to improve various performance aspects.

Textiles(surface coating, printing and dyeing) etc.
What is CARBODILITE?
Waterbone polycarbodiimide resin which contains carbodiimide [-N=C=N] group with hydrophilic segments

Features
Economical
· Drug resistance: (MEK resistance) test
· Test: When added to acrylic lotion for coating, the drying temperature and time are 80℃×10min
· Due to the affordable price of the product, we can increase the dosage to enhance its performance.

High Polymer
· Drug resistance: (oleic acid resistance) test
· Test: When added to waterborne polyurethane resin for leather, the drying temperature and time are 130℃ for 5 minutes.
· Test method: Apply oleic acid-containing absorbent cotton to the coating film (out of 35 points)

Others:Long pot-life,non-yellowing
· High storage stability, no yellowing, longer usable time compared to isocyanates, no excess by-products during reaction, and no carbon dioxide produced.
· Due to its good dispersibility, no preliminary dilution is required.

Suggested dosage level
The ratio of CARBODILITE solid content to resin solid content is approximately 3-7%

For faster reaction
Increase curing temperature

Increase pH with neutralizer (ammonia, amine etc.)
